We were joined in Chicago my Randy in his red Coupé Sharon his sister with husband Dale. They had driven from California with Randys car in a trailer so he could drive the whole of Route 66 with us.

Early morning.

Today was the day to fix cars electrical faults oil top ups differential support repairers I had the whole day free but wanted to do something in the city as well so decided to book a boat trip in the evening at sun set. Repairs did not take all day so we were able to eat out

Chicago at night.

After the boat trip we walked back to the hotel though Cloud Gate then the gardens of the Art Institute of Chicago enjoying the warmth of this wonderful city.
